The founder, Don Calcaterra Sr., started his career in residential sales and construction, but his true passion emerged when he discovered the world of commercial development. Rather than remain tied to traditional construction and sales, he moved the business toward lending and investment services. Don Calcaterra Jr. grew up inside the business: learning its rhythms, values, and challenges from childhood. With a background in public accounting and business operations, he brought new structure and fresh insight to the company while honoring the legacy passed down to him.

His early experiences shaped his foundation:
